Meet Nik

Nik Wallenda is known as "The King of the High Wire." He is the seventh generation of the legendary Great Wallendas and began walking the wire at age 4. He and his family have performed some of the most famous stunts in the world, but no one else has ever dared to take on the Grand Canyon.

The Walk

At a height of 1,500 feet above the Little Colorado River Gorge, Nik Wallenda will walk on a wire that is just 2 inches thick. While traversing the 1,400-foot-wide gap between the cliffs, Nik will have to adjust to sudden wind gusts of over 20 mph with no safety tether attaching him to his line. One wrong step could be his last.

Take the Walk

Experience the incredible thrill of crossing the Grand Canyon on a high wire. Explore hair-raising views from the wire 1,500 feet above the Little Colorado River Gorge.
